1. Introduction

BrightSlides LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application, CES Events and Leads (the "Application").

We believe in complete data sovereignty. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process your personal data on our servers. All data you create, capture, or import within the Application remains strictly local on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.

2. No Account or Sign-In Required

We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal identification to download or use the Application. We do not have access to your identity or contact information.

3. Data Collection and Usage

We do not collect personal information, usage stats, telemetry, or analytics from you.

• Leads & Contact Data: Any contact information you input or capture is stored locally in the Application's secure sandbox on your device.
• No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use services like Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel. We do not track your behavior, IP address, or device ID.

4. Device Permissions

To provide the core functionality of the Application, we request access to specific features on your mobile device. This data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to us automatically.

• Camera: Used solely to capture photos (e.g., of business cards or event materials) associated with a lead. These images are stored locally on your device.
• Microphone: Used solely to record voice memos or notes associated with a lead. These recordings are stored locally on your device.
• Photo Library / Storage: Used to save your captured leads, images, and recordings, and to generate export files.

5. Data Storage, Retention, and Export

• Local Storage Only: All data is stored on the internal memory of your mobile device. We do not backup, sync, or upload your data to any cloud server.
• User-Initiated Export: Your data only leaves the device if you initiate a "Share" or "Export" action (e.g., exporting a ZIP file containing your leads, CSVs, and media).
• Destination Control: When you export data, you choose the destination (e.g., your email client, a cloud drive app, or a messaging app). Once exported, that data is governed by the privacy policy of the destination app or service you selected.

6. Data Deletion

Because we do not have servers with your data, we cannot delete your data for you. You have full control:

• Deleting Items: You can delete individual leads or files within the App.
• Uninstalling: If you uninstall the Application, all data stored within the App’s local sandbox will be permanently deleted by your operating system.

7. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect personal data, we do not possess any information regarding the age of our users.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
